High Desert Angels is a project under The High Desert Community Foundation.

HDCF is a Fiscal Sponsorship program is a comprehensive alternative to starting up and running a nonprofit organization by enabling leaders to cultivate ideas for social good without the administrative burdens that go along with creating a stand-alone organization.

History of The High Desert Angels

In 2010 a small group of individuals with the goal of making a difference in the world started a Relay for Life Team with the City of Hesperia. They all had their own dealings with cancer and set out to raise money to help raise awareness for the American Cancer Society.  After a few very successful years of raising money, they decided that they wanted to see their money help those in need in their High Desert Community. That was the beginning of the High Desert Angels which was officially formed on May 28, 2013.

Since then, they have been helping those in need whenever possible.  With two very successful years of fundraising in 2012 & 2013, they slowed down a bit to take care of their families.  In November, 2016 they brought the group back together and set out to put on a large fundraiser to help local families dealing with cancer, Cues for a Cure.
